THE AWARDS PROGRAM
All juniors are invited to the annual Awards Program. The trophies from the division championships will be awarded at this time.
Also, we will have awards for division All-stars, Team Savannah, and Male and Female Players of the Year.
Family members are welcome to attend at no charge. The date will be furnished at a later time.

WEEKLY WINNERS
Each week juniors will receive trophies for winning their
respective divisions
SJGA ALL-STARS
SJGA All-Stars will consist of the top players in each division,
based on points earned:
• Girls beginner
• Girls Intermediate
• Girls advanced
• Novice Boys beginner
• Novice Boys advanced
• Intermediate Boys beginner 10-12
• Intermediate Boys beginner 13-14
• Intermediate Boys beginner 15 up
• Intermediate Boys advanced 10-12
• Intermediate Boys advanced 13-14
• Intermediate Boys advanced 15 up
• Tournament Series Girls 14 and under
• Tournament Series Girls 15 –18
• Tournament Series Boys 10-12
• Tournament Series Boys 13-14
• Tournament Series Boys 15-16
• Tournament Series Boys 17-18
TEAM SAVANNAH
TEAM SAVANNAH will consist of the top six boys and two girls in
the 18 hole Tournament Series. The players will be chosen as
follows; the top boy in the 10-12 age group, the top two boys in
the 13-14 age group, the top two boys in the 15-16 age group, the
top boy in the 17-18 age group, the top girl in the 10-14 age
group, and the top girl in the 15-18 age group. These top players
will be selected using the following criteria; total points in their
age division, scoring average and supervisors recommendation.
TEAM SAVANNAH will compete in the Georgia Cup Matches
against Atlanta Junior Golf Association, Augusta Area Junior Golf
Association, and Columbus Junior Golf Association.
PLAYERS OF THE YEAR
Girls:
All girls competing in the Tournament Series 15-18 age division
will be eligible for Player of the Year. The girl with the most points
in the overall weekly results will be declared the Player of the Year.
Boys:
All boys competing in the Tournament Series 15-16 and 17-18
age divisions will be eligible for Player of the Year. The boy with
the most points in the overall weekly results will be declared the
Player of the Year. In case of a tie, place of finish in the Matt
Warren Memorial Tournament will determine the winner.
THE MATT WARREN MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT
The SJGA Tournament Series Championship will be a two-day
event held at the Savannah Golf Club. All juniors will participate
within their age divisions and will be flighted based on their
scores from the summer. Boys in the 15-16 and 17-18 divisions
and girls in the 15-18 division will compete for the “Matt Warren
Memorial Trophy”, named in the honor of Matt Warren, long time
golf professional at the Savannah Golf Club and activist in Junior
Golf in Savannah. The male and female champion will have their
names added to the trophy which is on display at the Savannah
Golf Club. To be eligible to compete in this event, juniors must
have sent in the application by July 1, 2011.
NOVICE BOYS, GIRLS AND INTERMEDIATE BOYS CHAMPIONSHIP
The Novice Boys division, Girls Division and Intermediate Boys
division will each have their own championship. Juniors will be
flighted based on their scores from the summer. Trophies will be
awarded for all championships to the top finishers in each flight.
